One of the actresses who dominated the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) in Mumbai on Wednesday was Deepika Padukone. The dress that Deepika wore at IIFA 2019 is being discussed everywhere. But it seems that Salman Khan got surprised to see her dress. He was surprised to see such a big dress of Deepika and gave a priceless reaction indeed.
A video of IIFA Awards night is going viral on social media. In this video, Deepika is seen talking to the media, when Salman Khan was walking behind her. Going from the back, Salman first sees Deepika’s dress and then her. After that, he walked ahead with surprise. However, seeing such a reaction of Salman, Deepika herself also laughed.
Deepika Padukone grabbed everyone’s attention with her avatar as she wore a figure-hugging gown by designer Gaurav Gupta. It had feather motifs with a long train and she even wore as a drape on her head. It obviously got everyone’s attention including Salman Khan.
Also, Deepika’s gown trail was so long that her husband Ranveer Singh had to help her carry it at the award night. Not only that, a video of Ranveer, walking behind Deepika, holding her gown’s trail went viral on Instagram.
Deepika bagged the 20 Years Best Actor (Female) category award. While, her husband – Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor award for his role in Padmaavat. Alia Bhatt lifted the award for Best Actor in female category.
Earlier, on working with Deepika, Salman had said, “Actually even I’m wondering when will I work with Deepika?”
The 53-year-old actor, who has begun fimlimg for Dabangg 3, added that he has never been offered work with Deepika. “No one has come forward to cast me with her.”
“In Bharat, Katrina Kaif is my heroine. She will also be my leading lady in the third part of the Tiger series. In Dabangg 3, there’s Sonakshi Sinha. In Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick 2, I’m paired with Jacqueline Fernandez. So, if something comes up with Deepika, then perhaps,” added Salman.
