Television couples end up spending at least 8 to 10 hours on sets and when they are working together, they get to know and understand each other better and as a result they fall in love. Also, there are a few couples who do not fall in love but their reel chemistry make them alive forever in the hearts of audience. So, let’s talk about such couples:
Gurmeet Choudhary-Debina Bonnerjee
Debina and Gurmeet came to limelight overnight after their show Ramayan, where they played the roles of Sita and Ram respectively. Debina and Gurmeet met at a talent show in Mumbai for the first time. Also, Gurmeet happened to be her roommate’s boyfriend’s friend. The actor proposed to Debina with a big diamond ring on a reality TV show, Pati, Patni Aur Woh. They tied the knot on February 15, 2011, and are proud parents of two adopted children from Bihar- Pooja and Lata.
Hiten Tejwani–Gauri Pradhan
This couple is called the first reel-to-real life jodi of Indian television. When Ekta ropped in Gauri to play the lead opposite Hiten in her hit show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, the love between the two started brewing. They tied the knot on April 29, 2004 and they are now proud parents to twins, Nevaan and Katya in 2009.
Indraneil Sengupta-Barkha Bisht
Barkha and Indraneil fell in love on the set of Pyaar ke do Naam: Ek Raadha Ek Shyaam and the couple got married in 2008, and now are blessed with a daughter, Meira.

Gurdeep and Arjun fell in love on the set of Sanjivani in 2002 and they took vows on December 10, 2006 in a typical Punjabi wedding. They also participated in dance reality show, Nach Baliye. The couple welcomed their baby girl, Meher in 2010 and a baby boy, Mahir in 2015.
