But Bollywood has many talented actors who easily managed to convince the audience that they are the characters of the same culture. Let’s have a look at those actors who have played the role of a person belonging to another culture.
First of all comes, Paresh Rawal. He played the role of Baburao Apte in Hera Pheri film. He played the character of Maharashtrian person even after belonging from a Gujarati Brahmin family. His character and the film itself are considered as one of the funniest films Bollywood has ever given to its audience.
Talking about the badshah Shah Rukh Khan. He played the role of Shekhar Subramaniam in Ra.One. SRK belongs to a middle-class New Delhi family but he played the role of a very smart South-Indian game developer.
The beautiful and cute actress Alia Bhatt is also one of them. She played the role of a South Indian girl, Ananya Swaminathan, in the film 2 States even after coming from a mixed lineage of distinct cultures – Kashmiri, German and Gujarati.
Sallu Bhai or Salman Khan has also played the role of Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi in the film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Though, he belongs to an another culture but still in the said film, he played the role of a very strict Brahmin.
John Abraham is also a part of the list. He was seen playing the role of a fierce gangster who was a typical Maharashtrian man named as Manya Surve even after belonging to a completely different culture.
