Deepika Padukone on Ranveer Singh: Not living together until marriage helped us explore each other better

Bollywood’s beautiful actress Deepika Padukone was recently featured on the cover of the Harper’s Bazzar US magazine. In the cover picture, the actress indeed stunned everyone with a black Rosie Assoulin gown.

The Harper’s Bazaar US magazine termed Padukone, “the woman who became one of the world’s biggest stars while you were sleeping.”

Deepika Padukone used the international platform to open her mind about her professional work, mental health and also about the marriage with Ranveer Singh. The magazine also termed Ranveer Singh as the other half of a “power couple”.

Deepika Padukone was asked on why she did not prefer to live with Ranveer Singh before their marriage.

And to this Deepika Padukone answered that even though there was a lot of temptation to move away from the traditional, as both of them were constantly travelling, she did not prefer to leave the tradition.

She also said that Ranveer Singh was always fine with anything and he always used to say that whatever makes her happy, makes him happy too. She said that she always preferred to do things at the right time. She also said that it was the way she saw her parents do it and she also did not thing any differently.

She said that it really helped both of them to explore each other better as they did not live together until marriage.

As per Deepika, if they had started living together before marriage, then there would be nothing to discover later.

She said that this year, both of them have been living together and discovering a lot about each other. She also believes that they had made the best decisions of their lives. She also said that she believes in the institution and they are indeed enjoying every bit of it, and does not get distracted about what others think of them.
