Five top hits that the actor Hrithik Roshan missed

Debuting with ‘Kaho na pyaar hai’ Hrithik Roshan has gained much popularity till now. He has done many movies till date. Some were superhit, some were flop too, but the actor has a huge fan following for his looks, eyes, moves and acting too.

Whether there is any film or not, Hrithik is often the reason for discussion in media. Sometimes it’s his dance and other times it’s his controversies. It was also heard that there are some top hit Bollywood movies which were rejected by the actor, but later regret was the only option to do. Knowing about those movies will be interesting enough.

Dil Chahta hai

2001 Release Dil chahta hai created bustle among youths. It was a comedy drama-based movie about love and friendship. The movie was written and directed by Farhan Akhtar. Hrithik was chosen to play Siddharth’s role at first place but after his rejection Saif Ali Khan was chosen. And it was a massive hit.

Bunty aur Babli

Another missed hit by Hrithik was Bunty aur Babli. It was successful movie with Rani Mukharji and Abhishek Bachchan with a lead and Amitabh Bachchan as a supporting role. It could be a great film for Hrithik though.

Rang De Basanti

Aamir Khan starrer Rang de basanti was released in 2006. It was not just a hit, instead it was a blockbuster one. Makers already had signed Aamir for the role of ‘DJ’ which could be suited on Hrithik. But here too, better luck next time for the actor.

Yeh Tara Woh Tara – Meine Lieblingssongs 31 #Swades | Swades – Heimat ist ein Film aus dem Jahre 2004 und handelt von einem Mann namens Mohan, der seit 12 Jahren in Amerika lebt und für die NASA arbeitet und nach seinem Besuch in seinem Heimatland Indien den Entwicklungsproblemen begegnen muss. Es ist ein Film, der zum Nachdenken erregen soll, Regisseur Gowariker schaffte es aber nicht, das indische Publikum damit zu überzeugen. Beim ausländischen Publikum kam der Film dafür besser an. Ein für viele SRK Fans unterbewerteter Film, für den Shah Rukh Khan wiederum den Filmfare Award als Bester Hauptdarsteller 2004 gewinnen konnte. ➖ Hintergrundwissen: – Hrithik Roshan war die erste Wahl für Shah Rukh Khans Rolle des Mohan, lehnte das Angebot aber nach dem Lesen des Drehbuches ab. – Swades war offiziell der erste indische Film, für den man Szenen im NASA Weltraumbahnhof Kennedy Space Center in Florida drehte. – Gayatri Josh machte mit Swades ihr Schauspiel-Debüt in der weiblichen Hauptrolle. Es war ihr erster, aber auch letzter Film. Eine kurze Schauspielkarriere, die sie nach ihrer Heirat beendete.

Swades’s Director Ashutosh Gowariker offered the film to both Aamir and Hrithik. However, none of them accepted and later it was done by Shahrukh Khan. The film got good response over the years.

Main hoon na

Film ‘Main hoon na’ showed a brotherly pair of Shahrukh and Zayed. But at first it was offered to Shahrukh and Hrithik, who were also seen in another brotherly movie ‘Kabhi Khushi, kabhi gum’. But eventually Hrithik denied and it was then taken by his Brother-in-law Zayed khan.
