List of celebs that began their careers as child actors & grew up to become superstars ft. Kunal Kemmu

Bollywood is a platform for flourishing talent and polishing rough diamonds, who later on, go on to shine like Kohinoor. Speaking in simple terms, over the years, there have been various child actors who did some memorable roles in their childhood.

Some of these child actors grew up and chose another profession as careers but some went on to become superstars. This list includes names of child actors that are now mainstream actors.

1) Padmini Kolhapure

Padmini Kolhapure made her acting bow as a child artist in Dev Anand’s film Ishq Ishq Ishq. She’s also renowned for playing the younger version of Zeenat Aman in Raj Kapoor’s massively popular film Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Apart from this, Padmini also made an appearance in other films like Zindagi, Dream Girl, and Saajan Bina Suhagan.

2) Ishaan Khatter

The half brother of Shahid Kapoor, Ishaan Khattar too began his acting career as a child artist. He appeared alongside Shahid in the film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! and later went on to star in films such as Beyond the Clouds and Dhadak. Khattar will also be seen alongside Ananya Panday for his next film titled Khaali Peeli.

3) Kunal Kemmu

As a child artist, Kunal Kemmu had an impressive career. Starting with Mahesh Bhatt’s 1993 film Sir, Kunal did some illustrious films such as Raja Hindustani, Bhai, Zakhm, Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke, and Dushman. And that’s not all, he even appeared in Doordarshan’s television series Gul Gulshan Gulfaam in the year 1987.

4) Sana Saeed

Sana Saeed played the role of Anjali in the classic film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in her debut as child artist. Later, she did films such as Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega and Badal. Sana is better known for playing the role of Tanya in 2012 film Student of The Year, that marked the debut of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, and Sidharth Malhotra.
