TikTok owner Bytedance rolls out its first smartphone Jianguo Pro 3 with exciting features

TikTok-owner Bytedance has rolled out its first ever smartphone called ‘Jianguo Pro 3.’ The new smartphone has been launched under the brand Smartisan.

Bytedance has got hold of Smartisan’s patents and employees as well. This might not be the projected “TikTok Phone” as it does not boast of the pre-loaded features of TikTok.

The phone packs a 6.39 FHD+ AMOLED screen with DC Dimming, is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus with up to 12GB of RAM, runs Android Pie-based Smartisan OS 3.0, features a 48MP (IMX586) main, 13MP 123-degrees ultra-wide, 8MP telephoto for 2x zoom and a 5MP 2cm macro lens. There is also a 20MP camera on the front with 4-in-1 pixel binning. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner, doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack, and packs a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and is just 7.8mm thick. The Smartisan Jianguo Pro 3 comes in Black, White and Green colors, is priced at 2899 yuan (Rs. 29,125 approx.) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 3199 yuan (Rs. 32,140 approx.) and the top-end 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 3599 yuan (Rs. 36,160 approx.). . The Jianpuo Pro 3 smartphone is now available in the Chinese zone and costs around INR 29,000 for the base model, which has 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The new Jianpuo Pro 3 smartphone also comes with 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage option and the price of the same is Rs 32,000. There is also another “Matsutake color” in the the Jianguo Pro 3 is available and no branding of TikTok is present in the design.

As per various reports, the new smartphone will enable users to launch Douyin directly from the lock screen Douyin is the Chines version of Tiktok and users can easily swipe up the lock screen to start TikTok on the smartphone. Another important feature of this smartphone is the application of some special effects and filters of TikTok on videos of any length. As of now, TikTok’s videos are limited to 60 seconds.

The new Jiangpuo Pro 3 has a 6.39 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and it works on a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ processor, which is fuelled by a 4,000 mAH battery. For those interested in photography, the new smartphone comes with a 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor, 13MP wife angle lends and a 8 MP telephoto lens at the rear. The Jianguo Pro 3 also has a 20 MP front camera for taking amazing selfies.

The Jianguo Pro 3 smartphone runs on an Android-based Smartisan OS 7 and the smartphone’s connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C port, which gives it an extra edge.
