In an interview with Sourav Ganguly, who is now the president of BCCI, his views about many things came up at front. It was very interesting to know his thoughts over such topics. He reveals that he feels good to be India Cricket crisis man.
Ganguly is the fifth president of BCCI from Bengal. He says that he is happy to be in this responsibility and hopefully they can do a great job. Ganguly reveals that as day-night cricket was important so they managed to get that through. Other than this, they will make sure about NCA i.e., National Cricket Academy, first class cricketers, getting the administration in order, creating the body which is important to run BCCI, and many more plans are to be completed by the chief in his ten months duty period.
When asked about the involvement of coach Ravi Shastri in NCA, he said, “I’m sure he has and hopefully we could get it more because he is the National team coach.” He says Virat Kohli is very passionate about the National Cricket Academy.
In an interview, Ganguly expressed about the future of day-night Tests in India. He said, “We will try and play one every year in India. That is for sure. When India go on tour, we will talk to the board of the country we are visiting and see if we can feature in one.”
Ganguly was asked about how he deals with the captain, is it difficult to deal with Virat Kohli, he responded that it is not at all difficult. He told, “I just won’t get involved in team selection matters.”
