Deepti Bhatnagar started her career as a fashion model. She was born on September 30, 1967 in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Deepti had no plans of entering the showbiz industry as she was the owner of a handicraft factory in Meerut. She came to Mumbai to promote it and was offered a modelling assignment for ‘Roopmilan Sarees’. She got several such modelling projects in no time which made her loose interest in handicrafts. Before that, she had been crowned Eves Weekly’s Miss India contest in 1990.
After doing several modelling assignment, she debuted in Bollywood in the year 1995 with Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala and Aditya Pancholi-starrer Ram Shastra. In the following year she appeared in a Telugu movie Pelli Sandali sharing screen space with Srikanth and Ravali.
In 1997, she married model -actor Randeep Arya. Randeep Arya is the son of late Punjabi actor Veerendra who was a cousin of legendary actor Dharmendra. Deepti and Randeep have two sons Shubh and Shiv.
Later she appeared in films like Kaalia, Qahar, Humse Badhkar Kaun, Dulhan Banoo Main Teri. With these movies, Deepti could not make any significant mark in Bollywood. However she attended fame on small screen with her travel show “Musafir Hoon Yaaron” following a religious travel show, “Yatra”.
Looking into her Instagram account we can say that Deepti loves traveling. She keeps sharing her pictures from all around the globe. Currently,she is 52 and ageing like a fine wine.
