Maharashtra Floor Test: Uddhav Thackeray’s govt wins trust vote; BJP walks out

Upwards of 169 MLAs of Maha Vikas Agadi today cast a ballot for movement of certainty, while zero against, four went without and 105 BJP MLAs exited during casting a ballot. BJP pioneer and previous CM Devendra Fadnavis today said that they will present a letter to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari soliciting him to suspend the procedures from the House.

Dilip Walse Patil dismissed Fadnavis’ case of an ‘unlawful session’, saying it is being held according to representative’s bearings. The Uddhav Thackeray-drove government, in the meantime, has cleared the face floor test, in spite of four MLAs declining and BJP administrators leaving the House. Yes, I took oath in name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and also in name of my parents. If this is an offence then I will do it again: Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray in assembly

BJP’s Maharashtra unit leader Chandrakant Patil today said that the gathering would move toward Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari over Maha Vikas Agadi’s transition to change protem speaker. Naming it ‘lawfully off-base’, Patil said that the new government is disregarding rules. “We are documenting appeal with the representative, and may likewise move toward the summit court,” he included.

India’s PM Narendra Modiji himself had spoken about control while in a get together or parliament, instructed against the inclination regarding running into the floor of the house. Today his own gathering MLAs didn’t pursue that today in the #MahaFloorTest. Disastrous,” Shiv Sena’s Priyanka Chaturvedi tweeted.

No one cast a ballot against the movement as all the 105 MLAs had left the 288-part House, boycotting the floor test, before head check of MLAs started.
