Well-known filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan turned 55 on Thursday, and on that special day, she received a sweet surprise from her friends.
Various Bollywood celebrities including actors Nushrat Bharucha, Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, Aditi Rao Hydari, and casting director Mukesh Chhabra were seen at her house on Thursday night to wish her.
Farah Khan did not see the surprise coming. Later Farah Khan shared a group photo on her Instagram handle and wrote, “When ur in ur nightie ready to hit the bed n people land up to surprise wish u.. u know they truly lov u!! #friends #birthdaygirl #madbunch #bestnite #pastmybedtime.”
Meanwhile, Farah Khan also received birthday wishes from various celebrities those include actors Katrina Kaif, Kartik Aaryan, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon, and Ananya Panday.
On the professional front, Farah Khan will be working together with filmmaker Rohit Shetty for a musical actioner, and she has described this as the ‘mother of all entertainers’.
Announcing her collaboration with Rohit Shetty in a one of her Instagram post, she wrote, “What is meant to be will Always find a Way.. excited & Emotional both,to be on this journey with my dearest @itsrohitshetty .. together with the Lov we share for Films, we will create “the Mother of All Entertainers”! #inshallah ..Lov u Rohit. @rohitshettypicturez @reliance.entertainment.”
Talking about the movie, Farah Khan said that she and Rohit are both extremely excited for the new collaboration and they are on their way to making a really big, massive Bollywood musical. She is also hopeful that it will be absolutely her kind of movie.
Farah Khan also said that she and Rohit are probably the last two left to make this kind of big, entertaining cinema. She had made her directorial debut with the movie Main Hoon Na in 2004. Apart from that Farah Khan has also directed movies like Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year.
