The ongoing reaction against Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, who gladly declared “favouritism rocks” at an entertainment expo a week ago, has again caused to notice on-screen characters who got their huge breaks on account of their family’s association with the Indian film industry.
Johar, whose father Yash Johar was an influencer producer, was joined by Saif Ali Khan, child of on-screen character Sharmila Tagore, and Varun Dhawan, child of chief David Dhawan, on the phase at the show. The trio took pokes at Kangana Ranaut, who had tongue in cheek told Johar on his TV visit appear in February that he was the ‘flagbearer of favouritism’. Ranaut, who got into the business all alone terms, is as of now one of the best Bollywood entertainers. Johar has clearly not exactly gotten over her comment.
