Shattering the box office record is a trend in Bollywood. Movie makers prefer the intriguing stories and a big star cast with a powerful script having hard hitting dialogues and punchlines to attract the audience and crack the box office. There are several Indian movies who did that with a real ease in the recent years.

War:

hit the screens in 2019 and had a total domestic gross of 317.91 crores. This made it one of the biggest hits this year. The movie featured tiger shroff and Hrithik Roshan.

Kabir singh:

The movie featured Shahid Kapoor and was a love story. The movie did a total business of 278.24 crore rupees on the box office that just hit hard.

Bharat:

The Salman khan starrer movie that featured Katrina Kaif along engrossed a total sum of 211.07 crore rupees and became one of the biggest hits this year.

Mission Mangal:

The movie did a total business of 202.98 crore rupees and was released recently in 2019.

Dabangg:

A Salman khan starrer movie that introduced Sonakshi Sinha came up on screens in 2010 became a roaring success that year and did a total business of 138.88 crore rupees.

Singham Returns:

The movie came up on screens in 2014 featured Ajay Devgan in the leading role of Bajirao Singham, a cop that is both honest and ferocious. The movie was a sequel of Singham and did a total business of 140.62 crore rupees.

Dilwale:

the movie featured all time favorite couple of 90s King Khan and the gorgeous Kajol. It also starred Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon and was a love story between a couple from rival gangs. The movie did a total domestic business of 148.72 crore rupees.

Bodyguard:

The movie had Kareena Kapoor as the leading lady while Salman Khan played her bodyguard. The movie was a love story. The movie hit hard on box office and did a total business of 148.86 crore rupees.
